more ecto

well i thought ecto must be a sucky example, but i've played with a bunch of other clients and they ALL were sucky. damn. i was expecting an all-singing, all-dancing, cross-platform publishing system with a clever meta-data format that allowed me to integrate all sorts of things. i mean it's a start but not massive eh.
